Nowadays generic mace & club programs are popping up all over the place.
We are not trying to be like all the rest.
We do a lot more than swing maces and do club mills.
Don’t get me wrong, those are both great exercises; plus they are done in competitive events.
Mace Fit® does use them, but that’s definitely NOT all we do!
There are many conditioning and accessory work exercises that are done also.
Maybe this will help you see what I mean by using a parallel in the barbell world.
The Conjugate System, made famous by Louie Simmons at Westside barbell.
Louie’s lifters do great in Powerlifting competitions in bench press, deadlifts, and squats but only do them about 20% of the time.
80% of their training is special exercises used to enhance the three competition lifts.
Mace Fit® is very similar in that aspect.
What Louie calls special exercises, we call conditioning & accessory work, and they make our athletes stronger and stronger and stronger.
Don’t get sucked into the trap of trying to water down Mace Fit® by making it a generic mace & club program .
We are different and we have proof that our system works consistently.
Any questions, let me know.
