He said he wanted to get huge and……

While I was running my old gym, the Cave, sometimes guys would tell me they wanted to get huge.

I would ask them why.

There usually wasn’t a good answer to that question.

I often wondered what they hoped to accomplish with that.

Did they just want to look strong or be strong?

Some of the strongest guys and gals I know are not huge.

These two guys only weigh 175lb.

They are not huge, but their muscles are dense.

Getting huge is fine if you are into bodybuilding.

Each sport is different, let’s get back to the original question of “why”.

If you get huge, can you do pullups?

Can you run?

Can you swim?

Can you climb a rope?

Can be healthier and live longer?

Keep in mind your heart only weighs about ten ounces or about 2/3 of a pound

and beats over 100,000 times per day.

I pumps blood through about 60,000 miles of blood vessels.

Let’s that applies to a 200lb guy.

So if you are a 400lb guy, how many extra miles of blood vessels does your heart have to pump blood through?

Keep in mind, your heart is still the same size.

Pumps don’t last forever, neither does your heart.

So, if you want to get huge, consider the cost.

Is your “why” worth it?
