There are quite a few lateral movments you can do with a mace.
I like this one because of the weight shift on each rep.
Hold your mace with an alternating grip about waist high.
Flip the mace over and guide it down until head of the mace is about ankle height.
at the same time step into a lateral lunge in the opposite direction.
Example:
the mace head goes to the height your right ankle
step towards the left into a lunge.
as you are coming back up flip the mace to the other side
and lunge to the right side
It sounds more complicated than it really is.
Knock out 20 reps per set..
Do 5 sets with short rests in between.
Then move on to your accessory work.
