One of the big influences on our training has been Louie Simmons.
Using the conjugate method, he has created monstrously strong lifters for many years.
Though his athletes do well in competition in deadlift, bench press, & squat, they only do those lifts about 20 % of the time they are training.
Louie has them doing special exercises for 80 % of the time and has shown the world how well this works.
Mace Fit training, when done right, is set up in a very similar way.
Our competition exercises like 300’s, 360’s and long cycles are only a small part of our training.
We do many special exercises to build up weak areas and enhance overall strength & performance.
Without strength you’re dead in the water.
The conjugate method works with maces & clubs just like it does with barbells.
