minimalist training

Just a few quick thougths for today.

If you have a bunch of excess time you don’t know what to do with, then this

is probably not for you.

On the other hand if you want to make the most of the small amounts of free time you do have then

you’re in the right place.

When I owned the Cave gym, my training seesions usually ran about two hours, 3 days a week.

I was there all day anyway so time was no problem.

What I have found over the last few years is 20-45 minutes of dedicated training works well for me,

though 30 minutes is golden.

The secret is to keep it simple by using two main exercises like these:

heavy steel club pullovers + dips

heavy steel club cleans + chinups

steel mace 360’s + pushups

barbarian squats + lat pull downs

Don’t worry about having perfect conditions to train in.

Just attack the training with specifc intent and laser-like focus.

Make your time count.

Wasting time is just slow suicide
