Not necessarily It’s what we do or don’t do the rest of the time. One of the overall worst things for your health is sitting for long periods of time. If you’re killing it at the gym several times a week, too much TV or Internet still puts you at risk. That means you’re still sedentary. Do pushups or squats next to your desk or chair every hour. Take a brisk walk. Sling some steel if you have maces or clubs at home. Get off your but and walk to get what you need instead of using your rolling chair. Even my super busy doctor does ten pushups between each of his patients. No excuses! Coach D |
