I remember back in my martial arts days how I used to do a hard manual labor job and still train. Back then one of my jobs was working in a concrete yard. I loaded and unloaded heavy stuff all day, sometimes whole railroad freight cars had to be unloaded by hand. Sometimes it was 100lb bags of Marcite or 94lb bags of Portland cement.
Out in the yard I had to load heavy slabs of decorative stone for rich people’s houses. We’d get orders for instance of 10,000lb of Zyrian stone. Usually two of us would team up since the stones were really heavy.
I still made time to do my martial arts training. I didn’t make excuses.
Fast forward to today, people still tell me they don’t have time to workout. That’s why I like coaching these guys. They both are busy, so they come in before sunrise to train.
They don’t make excuses.
They really like our training!
